This report presents national, state and local data relative to the automobile industry, employment opportunities for skilled automotive service technicians and diesel engine specialist, the high demand for skilled technicians based on new and emerging technologies, the skills required to meet these demands, and how South Central colleges might respond and meet this industry need.
