Supply Chain Diversity

supply-chain-diversity-1

Supply chain professionals regularly note that it is difficult to attract and retain employees in the supply chain industry. Further research efforts from SWTWC’s labor market analyses shows that this is especially true for transportation, storage, and distribution managers; logisticians; and freight, stock, and materials movers and handlers.

To help overcome this challenge, SWTWC will engage underserved populations to identify specific needs and barriers to develop a support system that will increase access for supply chain occupations and increase incentives for transportation employees through partnerships with key supply chain stakeholders.
